Our Mission

The mission of St. Agnes Academy is to provide for our students strong Catholic values and academic excellence, while encouraging them to be lifelong learners.

JOY (Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last) is our call to action!

Since 1973, our archdiocesan parochial school has been providing students in the Key Biscayne and Miami community a strong Catholic education as well as an academically challenging curriculum that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving. Our Catholic identity enables us to educate the whole child spiritually, academically, and morally.

The foundation of our school is based on five pillars:

Academic Excellence

St. Agnes Academy is highly committed to academic excellence for all students and offers a challenging, well-rounded curriculum incorporating core subjects as well as religion, Spanish, music, art, robotics, and physical education.

How do we achieve excellence?

  • Successful implementation of daily real-time virtual teaching which enables mastery of gradelevel standards.
  • Tech-enabled learning through an iPad program, computers and smart boards in every classroom.
  • Professional staff development covering all subject areas, faith formation, instructional strategies, and child development.
  • Academic recognition in local, state and national competitions.
