Our Mission

The mission of St. Agnes Academy is to provide for our students strong Catholic values and academic excellence, while encouraging them to be lifelong learners.

JOY (Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last) is our call to action!

Since 1973, our archdiocesan parochial school has been providing students in the Key Biscayne and Miami community a strong Catholic education as well as an academically challenging curriculum that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving. Our Catholic identity enables us to educate the whole child spiritually, academically, and morally.

The foundation of our school is based on five pillars:

Community Engagement

St. Agnes Academy recognizes that Catholic education is deeply rooted in community and has always been committed to our parents, alumni, parish, and the greater community.

How do we build community engagement?

  • A Home & School Association that assists school families with faith formation, fundraising, community building, and communication.
  • A strong relationship with St. Agnes Church through faith building events, pilgrimages, and school/church events.
  • Community service through a series of schoolwide and grade-specific events such as blanket drive for children with cancer in local hospitals, turkey drive to feed the poor, visits to senior centers and respect life activities.
  • A Coalition of Principals consisting of all schools on Key Biscayne who meet on a regular basis to network and collaborate on communitywide projects and activities.
