Language Arts Teacher
St. Agnes Academy in Key Biscayne, Florida is searching for a Florida Professionally certified Language Arts Teacher (5-8) who is enthusiastic and creative for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. This applicant will be expected to model and teach the Catholic faith and incorporate teachings across the subject areas for grades 5-8. Secondly, they will be responsible for creating and implementing age-appropriate, engaging, and motivating lesson plans following ADOM standards. The Middle School Language Arts Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications:
- BS / BA Degree in Elementary Education or Language Arts education, temporary or professional certificate required.
- Excellent classroom management.
- Experience in STREAM applications preferred.
- Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills with skill in use of instructional technologies.
- Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Excellent oral and written English -language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint a plus.
- Must have a professional demeanor.

Elementary School Teacher

Spanish Teacher
St. Agnes Academy in Key Biscayne, Florida is seeking a full-time teacher for Spanish grades K-8 for the 2021-2022 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program for Spanish grade levels K-8. This teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or related field.
- Florida Department of Education certificate in Spanish K-12, temporary or professional required.
- Must have knowledge of the cultures, heritage and rich diversity of the countries that make up the Spanish-speaking world.
- Must have complete mastery of the written and spoken Spanish language.
- Must be able to demonstrate the technology skills needed to use digital books and interactive classroom technology.
- Must have clear and concise communications with students and parents.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Must be fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church
